With the increase of the cost of living, everyone struggles including those who have dedicated their lives who have protected this country. Recently, a new law was passed to help our veterans and their families.
The Senators introduced the Veterans’ Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) Act of 2022 in the Senate to increase certain VA benefits including disability compensation, clothing allowances, and dependency and indemnity compensation for surviving spouses, parents, and children.
This increase would take effect on December 1, 2022.
